The World War II convoy departed Liverpool on 11 December 1942 and was met on 12 December by Mid-Ocean Escort Force Group B-7. A collab between Ford and Cosworth, RS500s were built to Group A touring racing regulations and were both mechanically and cosmetically enhanced compared to a standard Sierra RS. Both of the RS500s, which represent the pinnacle of 1980s fast Ford engineering, are finished in black. This one has had just one owner and is unmodified from new, coming with a factory-specified Custom Pack, original SRT32P stereo, RS 3-spoke steering wheel and rear parcel shelf (with factory speakers), plus original Motorcraft service items.
